Hon. Andrew Dari Chiwitey is a seasoned human resource development professional and experienced legislator with over two decades of leadership in public service, education, and health insurance administration. He has served as the Member of Parliament for the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba Constituency since 2017.
He has played active roles on several parliamentary committees, including Roads and Transport, Works and Housing, and Government Assurance, where he currently serves as Deputy Ranking Member. His professional background includes leadership roles at the National Health Insurance Authority, where he led record-breaking enrolment initiatives.
Hon. Chiwitey holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Cape Coast and is fluent in multiple Ghanaian languages. He is widely recognised for his commitment to sustainable development, social equity, and effective governance.
