Mad. Alberta Frimpong Manso

Mrs. Alberta Frimpong-Manso was appointed Acting Chief Finance Officer of ADB PLC on January 29, 2024. She brings over 24 years of progressive experience in financial management, reporting, and strategic planning. Prior to her current role, she served as the Bank’s Financial Controller for seven years. Since joining ADB in 2000, she has held several key positions, including Head of Payroll & Tax Administration, Prudential Reporting, and Budget & Strategy. She is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Tax Professional, and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (UK). She also holds a BSc in Accounting from the University of Ghana, a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG), and an affiliate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Pensions Alliance Trust. In 2024, Mrs. Frimpong-Manso played a pivotal role in the Bank’s successful recapitalisation through a Rights Issue. She currently leads the Bank’s regulatory reporting, cost management, and financial planning efforts. She is an ADB shareholder with 300 shares.
